Hi! I’m Jia, a sophomore at Yongsan International School of Seoul (YISS). I’ve always been passionate about business, leadership, and creating opportunities for young people. After seeing how limited access to real-world business education can be, I started Business for Youth, an organization dedicated to helping students explore entrepreneurship and economics. Through this work, I hope to educate and empower youth in the business field.

 

In addition to founding Business for Youth, I have been actively involved in my school’s business and entrepreneurship community. I am a member of YISS’s Business Preparation Club and have participated in the Hult KBC competitions, where I earned finalist awards. I also lead a Young Entrepreneurship middle school after-school activity at my school, helping younger students develop creativity, leadership, and problem-solving skills through business-related projects and activities.

 

Besides my interest in business, I enjoy pursuing my passions through the Forensics Speech Team and Varsity Cheerleading Team. I also play the flute and am involved in my school’s Chapel Praise Band and Tri-M Music Honor Society. Outside of school, I enjoy traveling with my family, trying delicious foods, and spending time with friends—especially while exploring the vibrant streets of Seoul.
